Today I am going to talk about five myths or beliefs about eating fruit and vegetables.

1. Does the fruit make you fat?

At this point, it is essential to distinguish between “good” and “bad” sugars.

In its guidelines on the intake of sugars for adults and children, the World Health Organization distinguishes two types of sugars: intrinsic and free.

The natural sugars are those found in fresh whole fruits and vegetables, while the free sugars include the monosaccharides and disaccharides added to food by manufacturers, cooks or consumers, as well as naturally occurring sugars in honey, syrups, fruit juices, and fruit juice concentrates.

Tea tree essential oil is perhaps the most used due to its versatility and properties. Its properties are beneficial both for our health and for the green cleaning of our house.

For me, the tea tree oil is indispensable. Some years ago, my sister suffered toenail fungus; my mother tried everything to eliminate them. From supposedly special creams for toenail fungus to natural remedies. One day someone recommended the tea tree oil, and it was the only thing that managed to eliminate the fungi from my sister’s feet.
